A man in Raleigh faces multiple charges after allegedly threatening to deport a woman unless she had sex with him, while falsely claiming to be an ICE official, police reported Sunday.

Carl Bennett Jr., 37, has nine charges, including impersonating a law enforcement officer and sexual assault, according to Wake County records.

Court documents show he broke into the Motel 6 in Raleigh before showing a woman what looked like an official identification card with a badge on it. Bennett told the woman he was with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

He then threatened deportation unless she complied with his sexual demands, according to the court documents.

Bennett also faces drug, kidnapping and assault charges.
