A warehouse fire in Worcester last week destroyed nearly all of Wicked Twisted Soft Pretzels’ inventory.

The fire happened at the A&D Cold Storage facility. Wicked Twisted Soft Pretzels owner Shawn Briggs says he isn't the only business who uses the building. Other businesses affected include Table Talk Pies and the Sysco Corporation. 

Wicked Twisted Soft Pretzels had to shut down production earlier this year due to the coronavirus, but was back open when the fire happened.

Briggs says a fire as damaging as this one is not helpful while they try to get back on track. 

"One-hundred percent of the product in the facility was declared unsellable by the Board of Health in Worcester. One-hundred percent loss of everything. If it wasn't from fire damage or water damage, the power got cut. It’s a freezer facility, it was 95 degrees that day. The power was off overnight and everything was ruined because of that,” said Briggs.

Briggs also owns Reunion Tap and Table in Grafton.
