Governor Roy Cooper appointed Brown to the position in 2017.
Brown says he’s dreamed of becoming an attorney since he was a little boy, and his mother supported him and told him what he had to do to make that possible.
Brown was passionate about speaking at Altamahaw Ossipee Elementary School and wanted to share what he’s learned from his support system, as well as what it takes to make dreams come true.
“It’s a huge responsibility, and I don’t take it lightly. That’s why I’m here today to do everything in my power to encourage young people to stay out of the court system,” emphasized Brown.
He taught students about the value of an education, having good friends, and obeying teachers.
