GREENSBORO, N.C. — Four new affordable apartment complexes are being built in Greensboro this year, including Muirs Landing, Ole Asheboro, Foxworth II, and Printworks Lofts.
- Will be a 72 unit complex with one, two, and three bedroom apartments
- Features multi-tiered rent levels, providing rents below 60 percent of the area median income
- Complex will also include a fitness center, meeting room, laundry room, and a playground
Executive Director of Affordable Housing Management Inc., David Levy, said it’s a 72 unit complex with one, two, and three bedroom apartments.
Levy said there will be multi-tiered rent levels, providing rents below 60 percent of the area median income.
They will be high quality apartments with a patio or balcony, a dishwasher, ceiling fans, closet space, and more.
Other communal amenities will include a fitness center, meeting room, laundry room, and a playground.
“I’ve been doing this for a long time and I think this is the first time that Greensboro has this many units under construction that are going to be affordable,” said Levy.
Levy emphasized it’s a good feeling knowing they’re helping people find homes because there’s a huge need for affordable housing in the area.
Muirs Landing is expected to be completed this summer, and they're accepting pre-applications now.
