The historic building dates back to the early 1900s.
This $10 million project is among many smaller projects to revitalize the Arts District and the city.
The 44,000 square-foot-building, which is being developed by Mayfair Street Partners, will have a brewery, international market, golf simulator, bowling alley, rooftop bar, and more.
“The rooftop bar is going to be rather unique because we put in see-through igloos, where people can sit in the winter, and they will all be brightly lit,” said developer Simon Burgess.
Burgess says he wants this place to be a one-stop-shop for all ages.
He said this project will create about 100 new jobs and is expected to be completed by December of this year.
