NORTH CAROLINA – After ceasing sales of fruit and dessert flavors last month, JUUL has halted sales on their mint flavor as well.
- JUUL Lab’s CEO K.C. Crosthwaite announced Thursday that the company will immediately stop accepting orders from retailers for their mint JUUL pod flavor.
- The sale of Mint JUULpods in the U.S. through their website is also halted.
- Crosthwaite also says the company will support the FDA flavor policy and will follow PMTA process.

This week, studies released by the 2019 National Youth Tobacco Survey prompted JUUL to end their sales of mint flavors.

JUUL CEO K.C. Crosthwaite announced Thursday that the company has immediately stopped accepting orders for mint JUUL pods from their retail partners. They also announced they are ending sales for mint flavors on their website.
Crosthwaite said in her announcement, “These results are unacceptable and that is why we must reset the vapor category in the U.S. and earn the trust of society by working cooperatively with regulators, Attorneys General, public health officials, and other stakeholders to combat underage use. We will support the upcoming FDA flavor policy and will follow the PMTA process.”
The company has already suspended broadcast, print, and digital advertising in the U.S. and ended the sale of Mango, Creme, Fruit, and Cucumber flavors. Crosthwaite says she will continue to review JUUL’s policies and practices.
Starting today, JUUL Labs will only sell Virginia Tobacco, Classic Tobacco, and Menthol JUULpods in the United States.
JUUL also notes that they will not sell other under any name unless first authorized by the FDA as part of the PMTA process.
