Mumps is a contagious viral infection that spreads through coughing, sneezing, or even just talking.

Symptoms include swollen glands, fever, and muscle aches.

The Department of Health says it's not impossible for people who've had the vaccine to contract it. Though the vacccine greatly reduces your risk.

Washing your hands frequently lowers your risk further.
