The Guilford County Health Department has now confirmed 11 cases at the university.

HPU is offering the MMR vaccine Wednesday through Friday at the Slane Student Center or Cottrell Hall Kushner Ballroom between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Two doses from this vaccine is standard and it is 88 percent effective in preventing the disease.

However, the CDC suggests a third round to increase protection for people at high risk of exposure.

Elon University is also offering the vaccine after six cases were confirmed on the school's campus.
