HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Educators in Guilford County are demanding action at the state level.

A group from Ferndale Middle School and High Point Central High School gathered to picket before school on Wednesday.

They're asking for legislators to fully fund the proposed public school budget.

They want more supplies and resources for students and school staff across the board.

State legislators normally pass the state public schools budget by July.
