The impact of the Rockers and the new stadium goes far beyond their success on the field.

There are several new developments in the works right next to the stadium, including a food hall, new apartments, offices and shops.

Both the city and the team are excited about the “new” downtown High Point.

“All the development going around it makes it really exciting because we know it will attract more fans. It will attract more players. It will attract more businesses to keep coming and continue to make this place thrive," said High Point Rockers Assistant General Manager, Christian Heimall.

The Rockers play their first two playoff games at BB&T Point stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 6:30 P.M.
