GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Hot and humid weather is expected for Triad for the next week, maybe even longer. 

• Bottom line, daytime highs will reach the middle 90s each day
• Humidity levels will also run high and that will lead to heat index values around 100 during the late afternoon and early evening hours
• In addition to the heat, mainly dry weather seems likely for most days

So, try to limit your time outdoors, especially in the afternoon and evening. However, if you will be outside be sure to stay hydrated and wear lightweight, light colored clothing.  

In addition to the heat, mainly dry weather seems likely for most days. Some storms will be possible, with our best chances on Tuesday and Wednesday. Otherwise, most areas will see little rain through the upcoming weekend.
