GREENSBORO, N.C.-- Guilford County Sheriff Danny Rogers is marking his first 100 days in office. 

• Guilford County Sheriff Danny Rogers marked his first 100 days in office with a press conference.
• Rogers left before taking questions from reporters.
• He did not discuss a county audit of questions he raised about the departure of the previous administration.

While in office, Rogers says he is trying to cut down on what he calls the "revolving door" at county jails. He also spoke about going into the field himself.

"We fill in with our patrol officers, we stop traffic violators, we go on drug raids,” Rogers said. “It gives us the opportunity to understand and to dialogue and experience the one-on-one personal effects that our deputies are experiencing. When we look at the fact of our response times, our response time this year compared to last year is really great."
