GREENSBORO, N.C. -- For our Wednesday, Windy weather continues to bring in much colder air.

After Monday's high of 65, we are back to reality today, with a high of 48. Highs in the upper 40s are normal for this time of year; this issue is the breezy northwest wind will make it feel colder. Despite plenty of sunshine, plan for it to feel like the 30s all day. The wind will continue to be breezy tonight, making our lows in the 20s feel more like the teens. Dry & breezy weather linger on Thursday, with highs barely making it to 40s. Thursday night will be cold again, with lows dropping to the 20s, but feeling like the teens. Increasing clouds on Friday, with chilly highs in the low 40s. A cloudy and cold star to Saturday, with the chance of snow late Saturday into early Sunday morning.

So far, this system is not looking to produce the extreme snow totals we saw back in early December. Despite that we could still be dealing with wintry impacts as we head into the weekend and into early next week(with re-freeze/black ice).
