ASHEBORO, N.C. -- If you love the zoo, you now have the chance to work there.

The North Carolina Zoo is hiring more than 200 seasonal workers for the busy spring and summer months ahead.

The jobs don't include working directly with the animals, but for nearly every other type of support work at the park.

"You have to be a minimum of 16 for all the jobs we do have out here at the zoo on a season-by-season basis, but we do have opportunities for all levels of employment and skill," Jamie Merchel with guest services said.

The zoo will hold another job fair Tuesday, Feb. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can also apply online, or Monday through Friday at the reception desk.
