A former headmaster at Nichols School has resigned from his current position in Ohio due to a recent report accusing him of not doing enough at Nichols after inappropriate relationships between students and teachers were brought to his attention.
Richard Bryan left his position as headmaster at University School outside of Cleveland on Thursday.
A spokesperson for University School says Bryan resigned because he felt the Nichols report was threatening to distract the school from fulfilling its mission.
The report found Bryan wrote a letter of recommendation for one teacher who was warned they were taking part in inappropriate conduct.
He also was accused of not investigating another teacher's conduct.
Bryan left Nichols back in 2013.
