CHARLOTTE - The Carolina Panthers have announced that fans will have to pay to get into FanFest this year.
It will be the first time the team will charge admission.
The August 4 event will cost $5.
However, the team isn't keeping the money.
All proceeds will go to the Carolina Panthers’ charities and will support grant funding awards to non-profit organizations that serve communities in the two-state region.
