SAN MARCOS - Todd Andrews doesn't have a degree in advertising but he has a way of getting people's attention--through dance.

Andrews is a sign dancer for Great Locations, an aparment locator business near Eastwood Lane and Aquarena Springs drive. He landed the job after working for Little Caesar's, and Liberty Tax. All in all having worked for 13 years in San Marcos.

The unique moves have given Andrews notoriety among San Marcos. Staff at Great Locations say he's a local celebrity.

"He’s known. He’s a landmark. People know our location due to him out there dancing and waving," says realtor Jason Sparks.

Money aside, Andrews says his favorite part of the job is spreading positivity to drivers.

"The waves, the babies, I love the babies. I love dogs. A lot of girls have dogs in San Marcos," says Andrews.

While dancing for smiles is Andrews' goal, smiling was once hard for him to do.

"I’ll say this I was in a traumatic car accident years ago. I was left paralyzed on my right side," says Andrews.

After years of rehab, Andrews uses his second chance at life to spread positivity.

"I try to bring in a positive life to the drivers that drive by here. Or the customers that come in. I greet them whenever they come in," he says.

When he's not dancing in San Marcos, you'll find Andrews dancing for a different reason-- to cheer on the San Antonio Spurs throughout the season.
