CHAPEL HILL -- Sunday marked one year since legendary UNC Basketball Coach Dean Smith died.

Smith coached the Tar Heels from 1961 to 1997 and retired as the winningest coach in college basketball.

He led the Tar Heels to two national championships, 13 ACC titles and 11 Final Fours.

Smith also coached the U.S. Olympics basketball team to a gold medal in 1976.
