ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Frank Garcia, who shot and killed four people and while leaving one injured on Valentine's Day 2009, was re-sentenced Friday on an attempted murder conviction to the maximum, 25 years to life.

Garcia shot and killed Mary Silliman and Randal Norman in Brockport. Audra Dillon was injured. Garcia then drove to Canandaigua where he fatally shot Kimberly and Christopher Glatz.

Dillon, in court, spoke about her and Norman were sitting in a car in the parking lot of Lakeside Memorial Hospital, where they saw Garcia beating Silliman. They stopped to help, and Garcia shot and killed Norman, who Dillon said was the love of her life. Dillon was shot, but managed to drive away and get help.

Eight years later, Garcia maintained his innocence, while also rambling to the court about the law, religion and how the justice system had done him wrong.

"Your behavior and and your attempt to murder the victim here with respect to count three was horrifying," said Judge Sam Valleriani. "It manifested a malignity in your nature shot in to the conscience of any reasonable and decent person, and for that reason, I'm going to sentence you to the maximum allowable by law."

Peter Pullano, Garcia's attorney, says because his client continues to maintain his innocence, it's likely the appeals will continue.

Garcia was already serving four sentences of life without parole on the murder counts.
