This past November, Paul Newby won the Chief Justice seat in North Carolina by just 401 votes out of 5.4 million statewide. While that may be a crazy story, it is nothing compared to the one he has about helping recover North Carolina's stolen copy of the Bill of Rights.
On this episode of Tying It Together With Tim Boyum, Tim and Ben sit down with the new chief justice to hear the incredible tale, which includes an undercover sting in 2003 that finally helped recover the precious document that went missing just after the Civil War.
The twists and turns in between will have your jaw dropping the entire way.
