NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- Niagara Falls Police raided a number of homes Wednesday following complaints from the public.

Investigators conducted six search warrants in the city and arrested 13 people on a number of different charges.

Niagara Falls Police Superintendent Bryan DalPorto says tips from people impacted by the crime helped with the investigation.

"We work on these cases steadily throughout the year, but this is a culmination of investigations addressing these types of neighborhood complaints and neighborhood crime," DalPorto said.

DalPorto says the public should continue reporting crime so more investigations can take place that could lead to similar raids.
