UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — With summer just around the corner, a new splash pad might be the perfect spot to enjoy the summer sun.

The pad will feature more than 10 water features and be near the playground in Clepper Park. Union Township officials said the pad aligns with an initiative to provide high-quality recreation experiences for residents.

The splash pad was funded through a State Capital Improvement Project grant totaling over $268,000 with local match funds. It is set to open up to the public this summer.
