FINDLAY, Ohio — The City of Findlay is warning residents that it'll be testing eight new outdoor warning sirens on Wednesday and to not be alarmed.
It's part of the city's two-phase siren replacement project. Recently, as part of Phase 1, eight of the 16 sirens have been upgraded. The remaining eight sirens are still fully operational and are scheduled for replacement in the near future.
The new sirens will be tested at 10 a.m. to ensure they're working properly. The new sirens that will be tested are in the following locations:
- Blanchard/Brookside Drive
- Tiffin Avenue
- N. Main Street
- CR 99/Forest Trail
- Western Avenue/Joy Avenue
- CR 140/SR 12
- Bright Road/Bio Life
- Longmeadow Lane
