COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Central Ohio Regional Transit Authority announced the return of the Zoo Bus starting this weekend. 

The Zoo Bus will provide daily trips from downtown Columbus to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Zoombezi Bay seven days a week until Labor Day on Sept. 1. After Labor Day, the Zoo Bus will operate Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until Oct. 31. 

The bus operates five trips each day, with the first departing from State and High Streets at 8 a.m. The last bus leaves the zoo at 6:15 p.m., returning to downtown around 7 p.m.

Each way, it's $2 for each adult, $1 for children under the age of 12 and no charge for children under 5. 

Additionally, everyone who rides the Zoo Bus will also receive admission to the Columbus Zoo for $5 or will receive $10 off admission to Zoombezi Bay.
