COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Central Ohio Regional Transit Authority announced it's bringing back its Student Summer Pass Program this year.
It gives a four-month unlimited pass to students enrolled in any central Ohio school, college, university or technical trade school for a discounted price.
Starting May 15, the pass will last until Sept. 15 for $62. Normally, one month of unlimited transit is $62.
Students who are ages 5 and older can get a pass. To enroll, students must bring a valid student I.D. or proof of enrollment to COTA's Customer Experience Center at 33 N. High Street. Students will then be enrolled in the program through the transit app or a COTA Smartcard for those who don't have a phone.
All students have to do is scan the QR code on the transit app or on the Smartcard on the validator located on the right when they board a bus.
