LEE COUNTY, N.C. — Two people were injured during a small plane crash Wednesday afternoon at Raleigh Executive Jetport in Sanford.
Raleigh Executive Jetport Director Bob Heuts confirmed the plane crashed at 4:15 p.m. and that two people were airlifted to a hospital. The extent of the injuries is not known.
Heuts said the FAA will investigate the crash.
Police Chief Daniel Duckworth is a 16-year veteran of the department.
The person was injured while swimming in the ocean late Wednesday morning, officials said.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a then 16-year-old camper, alleging sexual assault while at the camp in 2018.
Baltimore offiicials say the city lost over $19 million from damage to its network and disruption to services.
“I am the one responsible for its release and have made the decision to do so,” CMPD Chief Johnny Jennings said.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings says he will retire at the end of the year.
