BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. - Former Holy Cross and Michigan State star offensive lineman Luke Newman was drafted in the 6th round of the NFL draft by the Chicago Bears, Newman talked to his former teammate at Holy Cross C.J. Hanson who was drafted last year by the Kansas City Chiefs, and has a year of NFL experience under his belt and Newman will be following Hanson's advice.  "So C.J.'s just been telling me take it one day at a time, enjoy it and then just put your head down and work."  said Newman, "That's what has really worked for him in Kansas City, those coaches, and that staff says that he's one of the hardest working guys in that building.  I think just reciprocating that wherever I go, just putting my head down as a young guy and just getting to work will earn you the respect of some of those older guys in the building.  They'll be more willing to help you and then just prove to the coaches and the staff why you're there, why they took a chance on you, make sure they don't regret that decision."
