Two people have been charged in connection to an Amber Alert issued Wednesday evening.

Zackary Upton, 29, is charged with injury to real property, assault on a female, first degree burglary and misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. Christina Jones, 54, is charged with first degree burglary and injury to real property.

Around 9:45 Wednesday night, deputies in Wake County said they were contacted about a kidnapping involving a 3-year-old girl from a home near Garner.

The child was last seen, according to officials, leaving with her father, later identified as Upton.

An Amber Alert was issued, and authorities in Wake County soon located Upton, Jones and the child.

This is an ongoing investigation.
