Kauai County’s Department of Public Works and contractor Maui Kupono Builders have announced a full-day closure of Naʻau Road in Kalaheo from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 11, weather permitting.

The closure is needed for road resurfacing work.

Residents have been informed of the closure and advised that machinery and commercial vehicles will be in the work area. No parking will be allowed in the area.

Motorists in the area are advised to allow for extra travel time and to make needed arrangements to accommodate the road closure.
