WISCONSIN — At least nine tornadoes touched down in Wisconsin during Saturday night's storms, the National Weather Service confirmed.
Three were EF-0 tornadoes, with one near Cornelia in Grant County, one in Belmont and one near Powers Lake in Kenosha County. Four others were EF-1 tornadoes near Delavan, Watertown, Marshall and Fontana. There were two EF-2 tornadoes: one south of Janesville and the second in Argyle.
Apple Grove Lutheran Church in Argyle — which is an hour southwest of Madison — was destroyed in the storms, according to a post by the pastor on the church’s website.
There have been no reports of injuries.
