NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Union workers at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art are on the picket line. The workers on Wednesday went on strike after five months of unsuccessful negotiations with museum management over wages.

The union said, in part, that the management's offer doesn't keep up with inflation and the rising cost of living.

The group voted to unionize back in 2021.

The museum posted on its website that it continues to negotiate in good faith, and MASS MoCA is open during the strike.
