HENDERSON, N.C. — People are inspiring others to make positive change across the state and that includes in our schools.
Jermaine Whitaker is one of the many students we're featuring as kids head back to the classroom this month. Whitaker is an eighth grader at STEM Early High School in Vance County.
His favorite subject in school is math and he likes playing football and basketball. He shares with us his experiences learning amid the pandemic and tells us what gives him hope for the future.
Are you a voice for change? We want to hear from you. Tell us what you are doing to help build a better tomorrow.
