COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. – This Saturday marks one year since Hurricane Florence slammed into North Carolina.

Ahead of the anniversary, Spectrum News hosted a town hall in Fair Bluff, a community ravaged by both Florence and Matthew, to discuss what we've learned since then and steps we can take going forward.

The town hall featured conversations with experts and leaders from across the state to learn more about the response to Florence and how they’re preparing for the next big hurricane.
