HAVELOCK, N.C. -- A Marine pilot is recovering today after ejecting from his jet before it crashed in Craven County.
- Officials tell us the pilot from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point was taken to Carolina East Medical Center

- The Boeing AV-8B Harrier Jet crashed in the area of Ferry Road
Officials tell us the pilot from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point was taken to Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern for treatment.

The Boeing AV-8B Harrier Jet crashed in the area of Ferry Road.
The NCDOT stopped ferry service in the area for the night so rescue and recovery equipment could have access to the site.
