"Whose Boat Is This Boat? Comments That Don’t Help in the Aftermath of a Hurricane" is a children's picture book made of quotations from President Donald Trump in the wake of Hurricane Florence.

In the overview of the book, the staff described an instance in which the president visited New Bern, NC and when a boat washed ashore he said, "At least you got a nice boat out of the deal" to hurricane victims. The staff says he also told the victims to have a good time. They continued to say, "The only way his comments would be appropriate is in the context of a children’s book."

Although a children's book, writers say the book is an excellent empathy teaching tool for readers of all ages.

The book can be pre-ordered for $14.99 on Barnes & Noble's website and will go on sale Nov. 6. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from sales will be donated to The Foundation for the Carolinas, The One SC Fund, The North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund, and World Central Kitchen.
