BURLINGTON, N.C. -- Burlington-based Labcorp has told the Securities Exchange Commission that it found some suspicious activity on its IT network over the weekend.

Company executives say that it temporarily affected some customers' ability to process tests and access results.

They say the immediately took some systems offline and are restroing full functionality as quickly as possible.

Officials add that so far - there is no evidence of stolen or misused data.
