DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. -- Officials are reminding pet owners to get their pets vaccinated for rabies.
- Animal services say there have been two confirmed cases of rabies in the past week
- One case involved a fox in the Durwood Evans Road area; the second case involved a raccoon found about 15 minutes away on Rivenbark Town Road
- Call 911 if you believe you see an animal displaying symptoms of rabies
