RODANTHE, N.C. -- The house made famous by the movie the “Nights in Rodanthe” is for sale on the Outer Banks for $1.25 million.
The oceanfront home, which sits just off N.C. Highway 12 in Rodanthe, boasts six bedrooms and 4-1/2 bathrooms and comes in at just under 3,000 sq. ft.
It was built in 1988 and became famous when it was used as the setting of the 2008 movie starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane.
The movie was based on a 2002 novel by Nicholas Sparks.
