WILMINGTON, N.C. -- With less than a month to go, plans for this year’s Azalea Festival are coming together.      

The festival has announced that Beth Troutman will serve as this year’s Queen Azalea.         

Troutman is a former Fox News anchor and a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate.

Most recently, she spent time working at an orphanage in Haiti. She also travels the world as a motivational speaker.           

The Azalea Festival begins in Wilmington on April 11.
