LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. -- Kinston Police arrested a man in a 10-year-old murder case.

They arrested 33-year-old James Estep of Greensboro Friday.

In March 2007, Kenneth Cannon was shot and killed at an apartment complex in Kinston.

Police say Estep was named a potential suspect early in the investigation.

He is currently being held at Lenoir County Jail.
