BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Music Hall of Fame has announced its newest inductees.
The Class of 2017 was unveiled at the Buffalo History Museum Wednesday morning. The inductees represent the diversity of talent and accomplishments of local musicians, including a two-time Emmy Award nominated composer and the composer of the traditional song Wild Irish Rose.
"It was a very new thing, very different, an Elvis tribute artist, and to be a part of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and share this honor with the people that are already in is a huge honor for me. I'm so happy about it," inductee Terry Buckwald said.
"I've been so lucky to be able to play my music for great people for 20 plus years," inductee Alison Pipitone said. "That is super special, I appreciate that."
An induction gala for all the honorees will be held October 5th at the Cardinal O'Hara Performing Arts Center in Tonawanda.
