AUSTIN, Texas — It's the first day of early voting across Texas, and in Travis County, it's sure to be a busy few weeks.

That's why there's several places you can go cast your ballot ahead of Nov. 8, including four mega sites.

Victoria Maranan was at ACC Highland this morning, one of the four sites.

There are three other ones across the city as well as more than 25 smaller locations so you can go pretty much anytime during your day.

  • North Mega Site: ACC Highland Mall, 6001 Airport Blvd Use North entrance, STE 2420
  • West Mega Site: Ben Hur Shrine Center, 7811 Rockwood Ln
  • South Mega Site: Southpark Meadows, 9600 IH-35 South Use South access rd, enter near Hobby Lobby, STE 600
  • East Mega Site: Millennium Youth Complex, 1156 Hargrave St

They're all open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Early voting runs for two weeks, until Nov. 4.

Election day is Nov. 8.

In-person ID requirements:

  • Bring one of the following with you to the polls. ID must be current or expired for less than 4 years.
  • Texas driver’s license issued by DPS
  • Texas election ID certificate
  • Texas personal ID card
  • Texas handgun carry license
  • US military ID card with photo
  • US citizenship certificate with photo
  • US passport

If you have none of the above items, you will need to sign a sworn statement explaining the reason you do not have any of the above forms of ID, along with one of the following:

  • Valid voter registration certificate
  • Certified birth certificate
  • Current utility bill
  • Government check
  • Paystub or bank statement with name and address
  • Copy of original government document with name and address (must be the original document if it includes a photo)
