Columbus Co. Au­thor­ities In­ves­ti­gating Possible Horse Abuse Case in Waccamaw

COLUMBUS COUNTY -- Columbus County Animal Control has seized an underweight horse in Waccamaw.

The sheriff's office along with animal control opened an investigation into the case of possible animal abuse and neglect.

The horse does have other medical issues, but officials are not releasing those details as their investigation is ongoing.
