WILMINGTON, N.C. -- More than 100 brides came out to the Summer Bridal Expo Sunday afternoon in at the Wilmington convention center.
It’s the 20th year for the event.
From wedding catering to photography to event planning, there was something for everyone.
Beautiful white dresses lined the aisles while live music entertained the guests.
Event organizers say the response they have received so far has been phenomenal.
"The brides come into one place. They can actually meet the vendors, speak with them, get to know them,” said Brian McArtan with Carolina Wedding Guide and Bridal Expos. “Which is really key because you're dealing with these people for six months, a year, 18 months before your wedding."
"So a lot of the brides have started the process, but we are here to take over where they need help and finish the process, and carry that out for them on their special day," said
Jumila Franklin, of Create the Date Event Planning.
Organizers say they hope to continue to grow the expo in the years to come.
