CHARLOTTE--Electrolux North America's CEO is stepping down after four years at the job.
The company says Jack Truong is going to "pursue other interests."
They didn't elaborate on what that means.
A spokesperson says it's not related to a release they're curbing expectations for the quarter, and she says it won't affect their acquisition of GE appliances, a deal they say is still on track to close later this year.
The spokesperson says that acquisition will play a role in picking a replacement.
Electrolux estimates the GE deal will double their operating size in North America.
The company's worldwide CEO and former North American CEO Keith McLoughlin will take over the job in the meantime.
McLoughlin held the job from 2003 to 2007.
