Grapevine is an unincorporated community in Kern County.
Some people reported feeling it all the way in Los Angeles and Ventura counties on the USGS' website.
It struck about 3 miles southwest of Mountain Center, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It struck roughly 5 miles east-southeast of Malibu, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
