Victim: Jonathan Ferrell crashed his car on Reedy Creek Road in Charlotte, which led to a deadly encounter with police. Ferrell knocked on a neighbor’s door to seek help. The homeowner called 911. Responding Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer Randall Kerrickfired his weapon 12 times, hitting the former college football player 10 times. Ferrell was unarmed. Police charged Kerrick that day.
