RALEIGH, N.C.— Pups and felines know how to make us smile and help us when we’re down. And now the non-profit, Friends of Wake County Animal Center is helping find homes, provide medical treatment, and support area animals and shelters in their time of need.
Their online Auction officially kicks off at 8 p.m. Thursday night, May 30, with a wide range of exciting big ticket items. That money will go directly to help animals in shelters, and those in the community receive much needed medical care and services they need. Open online through June 3, organizers told Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair about the items for bid, and how they plan to use the money raised for animals in our community.
