RALEIGH, N.C. — Tom Dundon officially became the sole owner of the Carolina Hurricanes last week, and he joined sports anchor J.B. Ricks for an exclusive interview after the holiday weekend.
Topics include the process of becoming the sole owner of the organization, how the NHL has handled the postseason during the pandemic and how far the the Canes are from bringing the Stanley Cup back to the Carolinas. Dundon was also asked about the prospects of fans coming back in full for the 2021-22 regular season.
The Canes were eliminated from the postseason in the second round by the defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning.
