RALEIGH, N.C. - The N.C. State basketball team re-takes the PNC Arena floor Wednesday night when Miami comes to town, and the Wolfpack could welcome back its leading scorer and rebounder.

  • NC State guard C.J. Bryce could return to the lineup Wednesday vs. Miami
  • Bryce has missed the past four games due to a concussion
  • The Wolfpack is 2-2 during Bryce's absence

Coach Kevin Keatts announced Tuesday that C.J. Bryce will be a game-time decision when the Pack tips off against the Hurricanes at 7 p.m. Bryce has missed the last four games due to a concussion he suffered before the New Year arrived.

NCSU has gone 2-2 in his absence, and Keatts says his senior leadership has surely been missed. However, Bryce's absence also hinders him from using his full-court press because of the lack of depth at the guard position.

"It's tough, I don't care what sport you're in," Keatts says. "To have one of your better players who is also a senior in the locker room not to be there, we're missing some of his production, 16 points and he's our leading rebounder. So those are the two obvious things.

"I think our depth is the biggest thing because we haven't been able to press in any of the games that he's been out the way we love to press."

N.C. State is 2-3 in ACC play and 11-5 overall.
